Make a repeatable maze and its solution

Choose a grid, save a seed and print a connected maze with the matching route from entrance to exit.

Choose your grid

Open the maze maker and choose a square grid from 4 × 4 to 30 × 30. A smaller grid gives wider corridors on the same sheet; a larger grid adds more cells and turns.

The settings adjust structure and space. They do not assign a certified age or skill level. Print a sample when choosing a maze for a particular group.

Keep or change the seed

The same grid size and seed produce the same maze. Choose New seed to make another layout at that size, then select Make my puzzle to apply it.

Every generated maze connects all of its cells and has one route between the opening in the top edge and the opening in the bottom edge. The solution is calculated from that maze.

Check the route

Switch on Show solution to reveal the route. The route should pass through open corridors from the entrance to the exit. Switch it off when you want to print the puzzle page.

Changing the form alone does not replace the preview. The preview shows the last successfully made puzzle, with the solution computed for that same layout.

Keep the printed pair together

Choose A4 or US Letter, then use Print / save PDF or download the printable SVG. Print the solution separately if you want to hold it back from the activity copy.

Add the maze to the free studio to combine it with coloring or word search pages. The draft keeps its grid and seed, and can append the answer sheet at the end.
